General FAQs

Are dogs/ pets permitted at the event?

Unfortunately, no! We love our four-legged children, however, this event is not suitable for them and they will have to stay home.

Registered service dogs will be allowed entry.

Is this an all ages event?

Yes, it is! Everyone is welcome at the Festival Precinct and The Oasis. However, minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

What’s included in my General Admission Festival Precinct ticket?

Your General Admission Festival Precinct ticket provides access to the Festival Precinct for one day only. You can enjoy two stages of cooking demonstrations, talks and discussions, 4+ stages of live entertainment, as well as the many seaside bars, producers, and vendor stalls.

What's included in The Oasis Village VIP Ticket?

Please note that to enter The Oasis, you will need a separate ticket in addition to a General Admission Festival Precinct ticket for the same day.

Your Oasis Village VIP ticket includes 2 x drink tokens (for selected beer, wine, and soft drinks) that can be redeemed at The Oasis Bar. You will also enjoy many perks in this area, including access to exclusive bars and food outlets, arcade games, a pamper palace, free coffee, and more!

Do I have to purchase a General Admission Festival Precinct Ticket if I have an Oasis VIP ticket?

Yes! These are two separate tickets.

Do I have to purchase a General Admission Festival Precinct and/or Oasis VIP Ticket if I have bought tickets to an event in The Oasis Pavilion?

A VIP Ticket to The Oasis is included in your ticket for The Oasis Pavilion (including Miguel's Spanish Fiesta, Seafood Buffet, and Ladies Who Long Lunch). However, a General Admission Festival Precinct ticket is NOT included, and you will be required to purchase one for the same day.

How can I gain access to the Bungalow VIP experience?

Back by popular demand, the infamous Bungalows will return to their new home in The Oasis. The luxe private Bungalows invite you and up to 15 friends to kick back and relax for a five-hour session, where you'll enjoy access to your own private space decked out with lounges, tables, and chairs.

Bungalows are extremely limited. To reserve one, please complete an online Expression of Interest (EOI) or contact hello@moretonbayfoodwine.com.au with your preferred and backup session choices.

How is seating allocated for The Oasis Pavilion events such as Miguel's Spanish Fiesta, Seafood Buffet, and Ladies Who Long Lunch?

Seating is allocated on arrival for all The Oasis Pavilion events, except for the Ladies Who Long Lunch event. Please arrive with your party to be seated together. For the Ladies Who Long Lunch, please inform our team of your seating preferences during ticket reservation so they can create the seating plan in advance.

I am a carer, do I have to pay entry?

We’re proud to be affiliated with the Companion Card program and have limited Companion tickets available for holders of a companion card, who require assistance from a companion or carer, to attend Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival.

IMPORTANT – Please don’t purchase your tickets online. To secure your matching Carer ticket, please contact tickets@moretonbayfoodwine.com.au directly or visit the Ticket Box Office at Business Moreton Bay Region Centre at 433 Elizabeth Avenue during office hours. You will need to present proof of a ticket purchased and show your Companion Card.

You will be issued a complimentary ticket for your carer. Carer tickets do not include a hospitality package for any VIP experience. When you attend the event, you will be asked to present your Companion Card and Photo ID on the gate on arrival.

I haven’t received my ticket after purchasing online, what can I do?

Tickets are emailed via Eventbrite immediately after purchase. If you have not received your ticket, be sure to check your junk folder! You can log in to your Eventbrite account and download from there. If you cannot access your ticket, please contact tickets@moretonbayfoodwine.com.au and our team will arrange a re-issue.

Can I purchase a weekend and/or multi-day pass?

No, you can only purchase a day pass. You are welcome to purchase multiple day passes if you wish to attend across multiple days.

Can I purchase my tickets at the gate?

We can't make any promises! Last year, Saturday tickets sold out, and we are expecting to sell out across the weekend this year. If tickets don't sell out, there may be some tickets available at the gate. However, we wouldn't risk it if we were you! We highly recommend purchasing online in advance – plus, it will save you money!

Ticket prices will increase by $5 at the gate and online at 10am on Friday 4th August.

I can no longer attend, can I get a refund?

Sorry, no refunds, unless there are very special circumstance (and these are at the absolute discretion of our Festival Director). Please note, as part of the ticketing terms of purchase, no refunds are issued.

You can, however pass your ticket on to a friend or family member. If you choose to do this, particularly for The Oasis VIP Ticket, you MUST change the name on the ticket to the person who will using it.

To do this, please contact tickets@moretonbayfoodwine.com.au. Name change requests will be accepted until the 2nd August.

I live in Moreton Bay Region, can I get a discount?

Yes, as a local resident of Moreton Bay Region, you can purchase a Friday General Admission ticket into the Festival Precinct for $10 (save $15!) Please note, there are no discounts for youth or concession.

To purchase this ticket, you must visit the Ticket Box Office at the Business Moreton Bay Region Centre at 433 Elizabeth Avenue during office hours. There will also be opportunities to grab your tickets from our team at a number of events over the coming months.

You will need to show proof of your residential address in the Moreton Bay Region.

How do I receive a ticket into the car draw?

By simply purchasing a General Admission Adult or Concession Festival Precinct ticket (not valid for youth or kids tickets), you’ll automatically receive 1 x entry for each attendee with their full details including contact details. It is important to put names and contact details on each ticket for each attendee to enter the draw.

You will receive 1 x bonus entry when you purchase a ticket to an Oasis Pavilion event or a VIP Ticket to The Oasis.

When is the car drawn?

The car will be drawn on Sunday, 6 August at 5pm on The Springs stage. This will be generated randomly. If the winner is present at the time of the draw, they will additionally win $10,000 cash.

If the winner is not there, we will make contact with them directly.

Can I change the name on my ticket / transfer it to someone else?

Yes, you can transfer the name on the ticket to someone else until 2nd August. After this date, no transfers will be accepted.

Please contact tickets@moretonbayfoodwine.com.au to request the name transfer.

Ticket holders must show their ticket and valid photo identification at the event entrance. The name on the ticket must match the photo identification.

How do I use my E-ticket to gain entry to the event?

On the day of the event, simply take your e-ticket/s with you as you would for any event ticket (either on your mobile device or printed). Please present your e-ticket for scanning on arrival at the entry gate (and the same again for The Oasis entry inside the festival).

Each person who has a ticket to the festival (both Festival Precinct and The Oasis) is required to have their own ticket when attending the event. Identification must be carried by all ticket holders with their name matching the name on the ticket.

If you are a pension cardholder, child or youth ticket, you will be asked to provide appropriate ID. Do not give copies of your e-ticket to others. Entry will be denied if a duplicate ticket is presented for scanning at entry. Treat an e-ticket like cash.

I bought a ticket from someone else / online, can I use it?

No, we suggest you contact the reseller and ask for a refund. We cannot guarantee that the ticket you have is the only copy of the ticket out there.

If a ticket is purchased from a third party and does not scan at the gate, or match your name if you are asked to present ID, we cannot admit you and we cannot help you.

I don’t have a credit card, and can’t purchase online, what can I do?

Please visit the Ticket Box at the Business Moreton Bay Centre at 433 Elizabeth Avenue during office hours (Monday to Thursday, 9am – 5pm; Friday, 9am – 3pm) or send us an email to tickets@moretonbayfoodwine.com.auand we'll organise to take your details over the phone.
