Join The Golden Ox for a 5 course degustation dinner crafted by Head Chef Peter Tzimas and matched with Moet Hennesy wines.

Kick off the Moreton Bay Food & Wine Festival weekend at the multi-award-winning restaurant and function centre – The Golden Ox.

Situated at Margate, this family owned and operated business and one of South East Queensland’s iconic dining landmarks will be serving up a 5 course degustation menu, specially crafted by Head Chef Peter Tzimas.

Each course will be paired with wine labels under the prestigious Moet Hennessy brand.

Join wines consultant David Cross from Moet Hennesy who will share his extensive wine knowledge with guests, explaining each wine in detail and why it complements the dish it’s paired with.

Tonka bean and vanilla infused breast, witlof, pickled mushroom, radish, green chartreuse gel, black grape, served with balsamic

Paired with Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir 2015 (Marlborough, NZ)

Grilled marron, black truffle mash, asparagus, and béarnaise sauce

Paired with Cape Mentelle Trinders Cabernet Merlot 2015 (Margaret River, WA)

Triple cream brie and vintage cheddar, quince paste, pickled cherries and lavish

Paired with Terrazas Reserva Malbec 2016 (Mendoza, Argentina)
