First things first – make sure you secure your Festival Precinct ticket online. This little pesky thing called COVID-19, has limited our capacity and that means the ONLY way to guarantee your way through the gates is by pre-purchasing your ticket online. Read more.
Once you’ve secured your ticket, get ready to soak up the winter sunshine as you explore the festival with drink in hand (and food in the other) as you wind your way along the foreshore overlooking Moreton Bay (yep, this year we are completely licensed, no more drinking pens #Yay!).
Included in your ticket price is entry into the Festival Precinct which gets you access to cooking demos by some of the biggest names in the culinary world, pop-up bars, live music, talks and discussions, and pavilions.
While you’re at it, challenge your mates to a match of foosball or some old-school arcade games. The loser buys the next round.
Hungry? We've got you sorted! You'll find a mouth-watering selection of barbeque vendors that will be firing up the grill and serving up slow-cooked pulled meats, pizzas, and more meaty goodness.
Does it get any better than this? We might be biased, but we can't think of a better place to dig into fresh seafood than in Moreton Bay, home of trawler fresh seafood.
Thanks to our famous friends at Morgans Seafood, you can pick up your very own fresh seafood all weekend long at the Festival Precinct. We’re talking fresh prawns and oysters, so make sure you pop by their stand.
There’s also the deep-fried and battered seafood goodness too, don’t worry!
Do you fancy yourself a bit of a home chef? Or an absolute novice in the kitchen (yeah, we’re with you). No matter your level of skills, make sure you pop by the Seafood Cooking Stage presented by USC and pull up a seat to catch some of Australia’s biggest names in the culinary world showing their stuff on stage.
This year we’re rolling out the red carpet for Matt Golinski (find him cooking both Sat & Sun), Dominique Rizzo (Sat only) and proud Samford local Alastair McLeod (Sun only).
They’ll be cooking alongside our local chef superstars, as they share their recipes and kitchen tips, inspired by Moreton Bay and its seafood.
Do you like pina coladas? But, not getting caught in the rain?!
What about pina coladas in a festival-branded coconut?
Grab a chair, soak in the bay views and stay awhile in this tropical-inspired cocktail bar that will have you thinking you’ve stepped off a plane and into the Caribbean island (but without the jet lag).
Enjoy top-notch sips and a jam-packed program of entertainment underneath the eye-catching (and not to mention insta-grammable) Festival Tipis, presented by Traders in Purple.
Forget your worries as you soak up the winter rays. Laze by the bay taking in magnificent views of Moreton Bay, with a cool drink in hand and the sound of great live music all weekend.
When the festival gates close each evening, the question on everyone’s lips will be “where do we go to keep the party going”. The answer, the Official Festival After Party!
The best part? It’s just across the road. Head across the road to The Belvedere and keep the party going with festival specials and good vibes.
