It’s been a long-time between courses (thanks COVID), but the Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival is back baby!
This year, the festival is serving up the tastiest program to date – we promise you, it’ll be worth the wait.
Here’s what new and exciting at this year’s Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival.
We’ve moved! The festival once held at Redcliffe Parade has a brand-new home this year at Woody Point’s Apex Park.
For anyone that’s visited our friends across the road at The Belvedere for a sunset drink, you’ll understand what a cracking spot Woody Point is. It’s famous for breathtaking sunsets and all-around fantastic views over Moreton Bay.
You don’t get much closer to the water than this year’s Festival Precinct!
Oh yeah, and did we mention the festival is now fully licensed – this means no more drinking pens.
Match those unbeatable views with the winter sunshine, as you stroll through the festival precinct with fresh seafood in one hand and an ice-cold drink in the other, it doesn’t get much better than that!
This year we’re rolling out the red carpet (metaphorically speaking) for some of Australia’s biggest household names.
Joining us at this year’s MBFW will be none other than cooking sensations Matt Golinski (cooking Sat & Sun) Dominique Rizzo (cooking Sat) and proud Samford local Alastair McLeod (cooking Sun).
You’ll find this trio cooking alongside local chefs, inspired by Moreton Bay’s seafood, on the Seafood Cooking Stage presented by USC.
Show us your coconuts at this year’s MBFW. We’re serving up the official Festival Cocktail (a delicious pina colada) in a branded coconut. Just think about all the Instagrammable opportunities!
Blend the festival vibe with Friday knock-off drinks, and you've got yourself one helluva good free Launch Party presented by Traders in Purple.
As the sun goes down, get ready to turn those Friday arvo feels up! Say goodbye to the working week and hello to the start of SEQ's most delicious festival weekend.
We're serving up stage entertainment, roving performers, delicious beverages, alongside all of your favourite food vendors, plus the iconic festival tipis are making a comeback.
Our friends at The Belvedere are throwing an epic After Party each night over the festival weekend.
The best part? It’s just across the road and entry is free. As the Festival gates close, head to The Belvedere and keep the party going at the ONLY official Festival After Party with festival specials and good vibes all weekend long.
Supercharge your festival experience with all the VIP trimmings in the Oasis Lounge, enjoy the best views across Moreton Bay in comfort, while sipping on festival drinks (including the Festival Coconut Cocktail).
Ticket holders will also enjoy access to the luxe VIP Oasis bar presented by Long Rays, and fancy bathrooms (well, as fancy as portable bathrooms can be!).
Tickets are selling fast to a range of workshops from paint and sip, cocktail masterclasses and clay and wine, plus more!
If you haven’t already, be sure to secure your ticket which includes GA Admission to the festival, as well as a drink.
First things first – make sure you secure your Festival Precinct ticket online. This little pesky thing called COVID-19, has limited our capacity and that means the ONLY way to guarantee your way through the gates is by pre-purchasing your ticket online. Read more.
Included in your ticket price is entry into the Festival Precinct which gets you access to cooking demos by some of the biggest names in the culinary world, pop-up bars, live music, talks and discussions, and pavilions.
