It's been a long time between courses (too long!), but foodies won’t have to wait much longer as we announce our biggest program yet.
Get your tastebuds ready to EAT. DRINK. ENJOY. (REPEAT) all weekend-long as you make your way through the Festival Precinct on Saturday and Sunday, winding along Woody Point’s foreshore, famous for its spectacular sunsets.
From unique dining experiences, cooking demonstrations, pop-up bars, live entertainment, celebrity chefs, food trucks, fireworks, masterclasses, and local produce; the 2021 festival program has the recipe to satisfy everyone’s palate.
Kick-off the festival weekend on Friday night at the FREE Festival Launch Party.
As the sun goes down on July 30, get ready to turn those Friday arvo feels up! Say goodbye to the working week and hello to the start of SEQ’s most delicious festival weekend.
We’ll be serving up stage entertainment, roving performers, pop-up bars and food vendors, and the iconic festival Tipis will be returning.
Get your tastebuds ready because the Festival Precinct on Saturday and Sunday will be serving up foodies a feast for the eyes and a feast for the senses, promising the biggest festival program to date.
Joining us across two stages at the Festival Precinct are some of Australia’s biggest names in the culinary world including celebrity chefs Matt Golinski (Sat & Sun), Dominique Rizzo (Sat) and Moreton Bay Region local Alastair McLeod (Sun).
Everybody’s favourite gardening guru Costa Georgiadis (Sun) will be making his festival debut talking all things home and garden.
Secure your Festival Precinct ticket and soak up the winter sunshine by Moreton Bay as you explore pop-up bars, live music and sample the region's local produce from the Bay and the farms.
Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival is the signature event of Tastes of Moreton Bay, a six-week program celebrating local produce from the bay to the farms throughout the Moreton Bay Region.

Welcome to the Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival, a wonderful opportunity to immerse yourself in Brisbane’s local culture and community, and hopefully explore some of the superb tourism experiences on offer here.
The impacts of the pandemic have provided incredible challenges, but thanks to the hard work of Queenslanders our state was one of the first to put in place a COVID Safe Event Framework which paved the way for events such as this one to take place.
The Queensland Government is proud to support the Moreton Bay Food and Wine Festival, through Tourism and Events Queensland’s Destination Events Program and it is a feature on our It’s Live! in Queensland events calendar. Events are an important part of our state’s economic recovery from the pandemic because they attract visitors to the region which stimulates the local economy and supports local jobs. Events are also an important opportunity for communities, friends, families and visitors to come together, creating community pride and reconnecting us.
Congratulations to the event organisers and all those involved in organising this event – may it be a successful one.
If you are visiting for the event, I encourage you to make some time to explore the diverse tourism experiences on offer in this beautiful region.
The Hon. Stirling Hinchliffe MP, Minister for Tourism Industry Development and Innovation and Minister for Sport.
Moreton Bay Food + Wine Festival is proudly delivered by Moreton Bay Region Industry & Tourism (MBRIT) in partnership with Moreton Bay Regional Council and is supported by major partner Tourism and Events Queensland and other festival partners.
The festival is grateful for the support of our incredible partners - MBFW wouldn't be what it is today without them!
So, please help us raise a glass to them in appreciation and support them however, and whenever you can. They're legends, like you!
